Why is visiting the dentist so important?
Visiting your dentist regularly will keep your teeth and mouth healthy, and will also help keep the rest of your body healthy.
At what age should I start taking my child to see the dentist?
It is recommended that children first see the dentist between the ages of 2-3. Your child’s baby teeth will be in by this time and the dentist can examine the health of these teeth.
How often should I see the dentist?
Children, teens and adults should all have check-ups and cleanings every 6 months. As there are several factors, we will help you determine if you should see the dentist or hygienist more frequently than 6 months.
How often should I brush my teeth?
You should brush your teeth at least 2 times a day, flossing at least once per day. Use a soft toothbrush and spend at least 2 minutes brushing. Remember to brush your tongue! We recommend changing your toothbrush every 3 months. If you’ve been sick, remember to change your toothbrush right away.
